iNK Think Tank is a national nonprofit so any contributions you make are fully tax deductible. Content is currently donated by award-winning nonfiction children's book authors and professionally edited and presented.  Even with these amazing authors donating content, we have costs - having this web presence for you and your students is a big one!   As Jan Adkins tells you in the video below, if we have to purchase content, it will cost about $500 a Minute to produce each one. That's one generous donor per Minute, or ten generous colleagues who understand the value of this product.  A classroom can sponsor a new Minute, or maybe a school can run a penny drive to sponsor a Minute. Any and all donations make a big difference and are greatly appreciated.

We also have programs particularly tailored to under-served (Title 1) schools that are like writer-in-residence-programs without the expense of physically transporting an author to your school.  They are called Class ACTS (Authors Collaborating with Teachers and Students).  Teachers and curriculum supervisors choose a book by an  iNK author that fits into their curriculum. iNK provides classroom sets of those books (real books) and uses between 2-3 hours of videoconferencing with teachers to plan a program  and with students to motivate projects based on the author's book.  Most Class ACTS programs take between 2-4 weeks.  Costs start at $2500 for two classrooms and go up according to the number of students and teachers involved.  If this interests you, please contact Vicki@inkthinktank.org .  This program is a good candidate for a grant either by us or by you.

Help us help you, and consider donating today!
